“TERMION FIRE-PROTECTION 01” is a water-based intumescent coating with fire-resistant properties. Specially designed to increase the fire resistance rating of metal structures and buildings for residential and industrial use up to 2 hours.
An absolutely harmless product that enhances fire and explosion safety. It contains no organic solvents.
It is used for coating ceilings and walls in evacuation routes, hall-type spaces, infrastructure facilities, oil production and refining plants, chemical plants, and residential buildings.
Termion Fire-protection 01 is used for finishing materials such as: concrete, brick, plaster, drywall, metal and galvanized surfaces.
The retention of flame-retardant properties and ease of surface application (reduced installation work) make Termion Fire-protection 01 one of the most popular materials in the flame retardant market.
Use a roller, brush, or airless sprayer for application.
The coating composition includes flame retardant additives, fire-resistant components, gas generators, and stabilizers.
As the temperature rises or it is exposed to fire, the coating begins to swell and vaporize inert gases. As a result, a solid foam with low thermal conductivity forms, which not only does not support combustion but also slows its progression. Oxygen is displaced by inert gases, the heat flow is eliminated, and the flame is extinguished.
