Termion hydrophobizer
Hydrophobizers are aqueous (or organic) solutions containing silicone components. The water-repellent agent, thanks to water or another “carrier,” penetrates the material being coated. There it forms a waterproof, permeable layer, protecting the structure from moisture.
Undoubtedly, the best hydrophobizers are organosilane-based. Their unique protective properties are enhanced by excellent resistance to high temperatures and chemical reagents. One of the main advantages of silicone hydrophobizers is their long service life.
Where is it applied?
Termion hydrophobizer is used when it is necessary to provide maximum moisture protection for materials such as concrete and its variants, stone, and slate. This treatment protects surfaces from wetting by rain and snow, thereby preventing deterioration, mold formation, and the appearance of fungi.
Compared to standard waterproof coatings, Termion Hydrophobizer:

- Prevents moisture penetration in temperature ranges from -40°C to +60°C
