Waterproofing - liquid roof
Liquid roof
There are options of 25 kg and 14 kg.
The one-component polymer coating “TERMION LIQUID ROOF” is used for the protection and decorative finishing of new and old roofs, as well as exterior and interior wooden surfaces, brick, concrete, plaster, metal, and galvanized surfaces exposed to constant exposure to water and ultraviolet radiation.
Termion liquid roof has high elasticity, fluidity, and adhesion, so there is no need to remove the existing roofing material. Termion liquid roofis a waterproof sealant.
Despite its high waterproofing performance, Termion liquid roof is a vapor-permeable coating.
Application methods: rubber spatula, brush, roller, airless sprayer.
Actively used for waterproofing:
- Roofs, facades, plinths, and mezzanine floors
- Open verandas, terraces, balconies
- Swimming pools, concrete tanks, garden paths, blind courts
- Ships, yachts, boats
- Civil, industrial, and agricultural buildings and facilities
- Bridges and tunnels
Benefits of use:
- Reduction of labor costs and estimated installation costs
- High adhesion to any surface
- Resistance to temperature drops and ultraviolet radiation
- Long shelf life
- It is easy to apply and can be used as a finishing coat
- After drying, a waterproofing coating is formed
- Environmentally friendly material
Surface preparation:
The substrate must be flat, firm, and dry. Clean the surface and joints, as well as any depressions or protrusions, of dust, flaking material, oil, and other contaminants, preventing any adhesion to the substrate.
Brilliant surfaces and areas of peeling should be cleaned with a scraper or brush. Significant irregularities should be removed with exterior-grade jointing compound, and a primer coat applied to the substrate (for concrete or metal surfaces).
Method of application:
- Before application, the material must be thoroughly mixed and, if necessary, diluted with purified water by no more than 5% by volume.
- Work is performed at an air and treated surface temperature no lower than +5 °C and no higher than +40 °C.
- Before starting work, check that all previously applied coatings have dried.
- Attention! Apply only to a dry surface!
- The material is applied with a rubber trowel, brush, roller, or airless sprayer (Graco, Wagner) in several coats, with each coat applied perpendicular to the previous one.
- At an ambient temperature of +20 °C and a relative air humidity of 90 ± 5%, interlayer drying takes 2–3 hours. Otherwise, the drying time will change. Complete polymerization of the material takes 24 hours.
- Caution! After application, reliably protect the material from moisture, precipitation, and mechanical damage until full polymerization is complete.
Consumption:
- Roofs, balconies, verandas, pools, basement floors, and between-panel ceilings – 1,5–2,0 kg/m² (with a total layer thickness of 1,5–2 mm); the recommended total dry coating thickness must not be less than 1,5 mm
- Floors, walls – 1,0 … 1,5 kg/m² (with a total thickness of 1,5 mm), the recommended total thickness of the dry coating layer must not be less than 1 mm
Transportation and storage of materials:
- Transportation and storage of materials must be carried out in tightly sealed containers at a temperature of at least +5 °C and no higher than +40 °C
- Storage and use of waterproofing coatings does not require adherence to special safety requirements, as they are fire- and explosion-resistant
- The guaranteed shelf life in the original packaging is 12 months from the date of manufacture
